The Kaolin Superfine White Clay which we sell is of Australian origin. It is of the highest food grade product we have been able to source. This 100% kaolin clay has found many uses by our wide customer base.
How chefs use this product
Most chefs use a combination of our 100% kaolin clay with Lactose Monohydrate powder to add a slight sweetness to the clay. The main practitioners of this style in Australia are The Royal Mail Hotel in Dunkeld and Brae. Overseas we have Heston and Rene using these to coat potatoes and other objects to create edible gardens. The product contains no added chemicals, preservatives or additives.
