Australian Grown and manufactured high protein GMO free wheat gluten. When this product is added to low-protein flour it will add sufficient strength and elasticity for bread or pasta making. The more protein added to flour the stronger it will become. As this product is 100% gluten a little goes a long way. Ideal to use when baking with rye flour.

How much Vital Wheat Gluten to add to your baking flour?
This is a very common question we are asked, it all depends on which flour and what the protein content is. Please use the below as a guide to start your experiments. Remember if you add too much gluten it will result in a very rubbery bread.

Basic Bread flour is approximately 12 - 12.5% protein, if you are using another flour add enough gluten to obtain that range. A general rule if you do not know the protein percentages of your flour is 15g for every 475g of flour.

This product only contains 100% Australian grown GMO free Gluten. This product is packed in a specially isolated environment to ensure no cross contamination with other gluten free products.

This product is suitable for:
