MF86 Mono-Diglyceride HP 45 (E471). A mono-diglyceride manufactured from edible, fully hydrogenated vegetable oil. Application area table margarine, ice cream, bakery and chewing gum.

Flavoured Butters and Olive Oil foam with MF86
Use MF86 to make flavoured butters and foams, this product will only work in fats. Some foams MFD has made include peanut butter, olive oil or chocolate. Its important to add the MF86 into the fat while heating to above 140 degrees C. When making the olive oil foam an amount of 2% worked the best. That is 2% of the total weight of the fat, naturally this will vary depending on the olive oil used.
These levels are approximate and are based on total product. A good starting off point is 0.4 - 0.6%
This product is GMO free and Kosher

MF86 will stabilize emulsions and provide uniform and stable water dispersions in all types of margarines and spreads. They can also improve palatability and reduce stickiness in caramels and toffees.
Mono- and diglycerides
Mono-diglycerides are produced from an esterification between triglyceride and glycerol. Our product has a concentration of mono-diglyceride of 45.
