Propylene Glycol (E1520) is used as a food additive with emulsification and humectant properties. Propylene glycol (PG) can also be used in many pharmaceutical applications. (PG) is a clear, colorless & odorless liquid with a fairly low viscosity. It is very hygroscopic with outstanding stability characteristics. Propylene glycol is completely water soluble and an  excellent solvent for many organic compounds.

Freezing Point Depression
The freezing point of water is depressed when mixed with propylene glycol owing to the effects of dissolution of a solute in a solvent.

People are using this product for the manufacture of electronic cigarettes. Customers have also purchased flavours including hamburger, musk and bubble gum. Having never been involved in the manufacture of these products we are unsure at which stage of the production to add the flavours.
