MFD Beetroot powder is air dried (AD) and can be used as a food colouring or to increase vitamin intake by adding to smoothies. Beetroot powder is a natural red food colouring. It has a slightly sweet taste and it is an ideal substitute for artificial red colours that can cause allergic reactions to some people.
Beetroot powder can be used in any recipe which requires a red tint, remember a little goes a long way. This powder is supplied in an air tight and semi light tight container. Under these conditions it should avoid clumping. Clumping demonstrates that this product is pure and does not contain any free flowing agents. To remove lumps crush with the back of a spoon or blend to required mesh size.
Beetroot Latte and hot chocolates
Our Beetroot powder is being used by many of Melbourne cafes to construct a healthier option for latte and hot chocolates. So not only can you eat our powder in a rich dark moist mudcake it can be joined by a beetroot latte or hot chocolate. You will be bouncing out of the cafe full of antioxidants and vitamins.
Or even make your own beetroot latte or hot chocolate using this basic recipe:
Add MFD beetroot powder to a bowl or large mug.
Add a small amount of hot water to the powder and whisk, this will form a thick paste.
Once the paste is formed add more hot water, whisking until the beetroot powder is completely dissolved. No gritty texture present. This blend is now ready to receive the steamed milk, pour and enjoy.
Beetroot Powder - used in the Macaron Tower with Kalamata Olive, and Beetroot and Raspberry Macarons by Adriano Zumbo on masterchef Australia. This beetroot powder will also add to the colour of the macarons. If you want to try something different use it in a chocolate cake.

Why do we charge for this paperwork?
The majority of our customers do not require this paperwork so we are able to pass on the savings. The cost of supplying this paperwork for a $10 product outstrips the product price. Compliance is a major cost to our company and if you require this then its only fair you share the cost. These fees can get quite high for example with all the information required for Organic Certification. See below on how to avoid the fees.
Don't want to pay for a certificate?
Then please purchase a box quantity of the product. This varies depending on the product but is usually a 25Kg container.
